Jonathan David Méndez Pérez arrived Monday to the editor of the newspaper Listin Diario and stole the show. Little, who turns four years on June 20, surprised everyone by recognizing major works of dozens of Dominican and foreign artists. 

According to his father, the painter and professor Pedro Pablo Mendez, the child recognizes works of about 90 painters. It's like a game for him. Surprising? Well, there's more, because Jonathan is not only familiar to the artists of the brush, he is one of them. 

Currently the Children's Museum Trampoline, Colonial City, presents the exhibit "Traces of my childhood" with paintings by the boy.

"I did not want it to look commercial," says Pedro Pablo and adds that the big boys call this cultural space, one could emphasize the need to encourage and harness the talent of the kids.
